Recognizing the importance of fluency in Italian, I made the decision to change my major from Business Economics to Global Studies specifically to study Italian for a more extended period and eventually grew proficiency in the language. This choice reflects both my passion for Italian culture and my long-term career goals. I aspire to seek employment opportunities that celebrate and utilize Italian culture and language, and the fluency I gain will undoubtedly provide me with a competitive edge in the job market.
As someone deeply proud of my Italian heritage, I am committed to promoting awareness of the invaluable contributions Italian language and culture have made to the world. Looking ahead, I aim to utilize my knowledge and academic degree to champion Italian culture and language worldwide. One of my career aspirations is to work in diplomacy or global affairs, facilitating the growth of the relationship between Italy and the United States. In particular, I am highly interested in serving at the Istituto Di Italiano in Westwood, where my language skills can be utilized to promote Italian culture and language within my community.
