I am honored to be a recipient of the 2025 Casola Prize. As an immigrant from Italy, I am deeply committed to strengthening Italian-American ties through the study of global political institutions.
I am currently a doctoral candidate in Political Science and International Relations at the University of Southern California. My research examines how international aid and diplomacy influence global migration patterns, with a comparative focus on Italy and the United States—two countries whose intergenerational experiences with migration continue to shape global debates.

Having moved to the U.S. at 17, I am sincerely grateful for this opportunity and for the Patrons' investment in the next generation of scholars engaging with Italy's global legacy.
